On the southern edge of Northamptonshire, the Grange Park masterplan includes up to 330 new homes, community facilities, public open space and an option for a primary school. A comprehensive townscape character assessment was undertaken to inform the arrangement of streets, spaces and mix of house types. The masterplan was then underpinned by a detailed proving layout which responded to this assessment as well as guidance set out in the South Northamptonshire Design Guide. The proposed layout is designed to enable pedestrian and cycle connectivity with neighbouring developments and Foxfields Country Park to the north.
