The masterplan for Littleport was devised as part of the outline planning application for up to 680 new homes, local centre and an extensive network of public open space. It established the land use strategy, special arrangement and underlying design principles to create a larger, sustainable community in East Cambridgeshire. The masterplan’s design code provides detailed guidance through a series of interrelated typologies that control the character of townscape, architecture, landscape design and public realm.
