Repurposing a derelict series of sites on the north-western edge of the town, the Coalville masterplan is an ambitious regeneration project. Designed to provide a complete mix of homes honouring Coalville’s industrial heritage, the masterplan includes townhouses, courtyard housing, Extra Care and later living homes, a new urban square and live work units. It aims to convert existing notable features whilst also creating a new sense of community by incorporating green infrastructure, cycle paths and links through to the adjacent Urban Forest Park.
